I believe life is an adventure, not a destination. Every person’s financial journey is unique, and my role is to meet people where they are, then help guide them to where they want to go. Success in this work takes collaboration, effort, and compassion. I pride myself on listening deeply, building trust, and creating personalized strategies that help people move confidently toward their goals.
I am also a lifelong learner who thrives on discovering new ideas and insights every day. That curiosity keeps me growing, personally and professionally, and allows me to bring the best possible solutions to the people I serve.
Early Life
I was born and raised in Northern California and have called it home my entire life. Fun fact: my family’s roots trace back to Tacoma, Washington, where my grandfather was stationed while serving in the U.S. Army.
I met my husband in 1990, and we have been on a shared journey ever since . . . one filled with growth, laughter, and a few hard-earned lessons along the way.
I’ve worked in the financial services industry since the early 1990s and take great pride in having devoted more than 30 years to building and refining my professional practice. I may not know if I have another 30 years ahead of me, but I am genuinely excited for all the days to come; just as I cherish those behind me, including the challenging ones that have added so much color and depth to my story.
Work Experience
From a very early age, it was clear that I had an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to make things better. Even after three decades in financial services, I still wake up every morning with one question in mind:
“What can I do to improve someone’s life today?”
Sometimes that means showing clients how well they have prepared for the future; other times, it is introducing them to a new concept that can optimize their retirement income or help protect what they’ve worked so hard to build. Whether serving as an educator or advisor, I take both roles seriously and approach each relationship with care, clarity, and purpose.
But of course . . . we also like to have fun!
Hobbies
I love just about anything outdoors. Whether it’s enjoying live music under the stars, hiking up a mountain, wandering through a new city and sampling local cuisine along the way the view is always better outside!
For many years, I was also an avid rock climber, both indoors and outdoors. That experience taught me one of life’s most valuable lessons: finding safe ways to do hard things builds confidence . . . a truth that continues to inspire me every day.
I am also an avid back-yard chicken owner! Yes, I eat the eggs and yes, they are pets!
