Early Life
I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA and have lived in the great PNW ever since. Through my school years I loved soccer, baseball and cross country and when I wasn’t doing sports I enjoyed dirt bike riding, fishing, camping and being outside as much as possible. I don’t think there was a sunny day that I didn’t take advantage of. But that’s not to say I couldn’t handle some rain too.
Work Experience
I’ve been in insurance for the last 16 years and I still strive to learn more every day. The more I know, the more I can keep my clients educated as well and help them make sure that they don’t have any unexpected gaps in coverage. I’ve worked in the captive world, where I could only offer one carrier for 8 years and then had the desire to offer my clients more, which led me to starting my own insurance agency as a broker. After a couple of years I moved my book of business to Alliance West Insurance where I have been since 2013. I started out doing home, auto and recreational products and eventually learned life, health and business insurance. Today, I love being able to take care of any insurance needs my client may have, whether it’s an employee benefits package for their business or insurance for their new boat.
Hobbies
Now that I am married and have 3 teenagers and 2 dogs, my hobbies are wine tasting, hunting, archery, darts, camping, swimming and boating. I still love every sunny day that I get.
