Meet Our Team

I was born in Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, on April 26, 1999, and I’m the youngest of four siblings. My brothers and sister have always been incredibly supportive in every way possible, and even though we no longer live close to each other, we still share a very strong bond.

Growing up, I lived with my mom and her husband until I was 17 years old. At that point, I moved to Hermosillo, about four hours away from my hometown, because I wanted to experience independence and challenge myself. When the pandemic hit in 2019, I ended up moving back home for a while.

From kindergarten through middle school, I attended public school and always enjoyed participating in assemblies and academic projects. Public speaking came naturally to me, and I loved having opportunities to talk about important topics like climate change and inclusion.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. When I was 10 years old, I got my first acoustic guitar and started taking music lessons. That was also when I discovered how much I enjoyed writing and composing my own songs, which is still something I love doing today.

My interest in reading and writing also helped me teach myself English over time. Having access to the internet, along with practicing with my sister and cousin who live in the United States, made a big difference in helping me improve my language skills.

As a kid, I loved making people laugh. Family gatherings usually turned into comedy shows because I was always telling jokes and trying to make everyone laugh until they cried. Looking back, I would describe my younger self as funny, outgoing, curious, and expressive.
